QA Legacy of Roses
(Sterling Vision X Rhianna Rose by Richter mh)
As a physical specimen, “Legs” personifies all that is treasured in the Egyptian Arabian: unsurpassed breed type; magnetic, charismatic presence; an ultra-exotic, perfectly proportioned head; a high set, gracefully arched neck; superb balance and strength of coupling; smooth shoulders and quarters of good length, strength and slope; a well muscled, horizontal topline with a highly placed and proudly carried tail; good three-dimensional substance with plentiful width, depth and muscular development; squarely placed limbs with clean, dense bone and wide sinewy tendons; and a free-moving, animated stride with a distinct aristocratic carriage. Intensely line-bred to NAZEER through many of his best get, “Legs” is an obvious choice for us to use in our breeding program, particularly with Gadiel daughters and select mares in our broodmare band, including QA Divine Infidel (Gadiel's sister). In Poland, the unprecedented success crossing the blood of the Tersk-bred ASWAN son PALAS and his descendants with the Polish stock at all the State Studs has proven to be remarkably consistent. The precious blood of NAZEER has been a key component of Poland’s world renowned “Diamond Cross”, in which direct descendants of his line were mated with those tracing directly to SKOWRONEK, specifically the sires NEGATIW, BANDOS, NABOR, EUKALIPTUS and PEPTON (sire of Ecaho). By crossing Legs on the aforementioned mares and mare lines, we hope to capitalize on that same success. Through “Legs”, our breeding program now benefits from the influence of the best NAZEER sons – ANSATA IBN HALIMA and MORAFIC – as well as the precious blood of the absolutely incredible mare RDM Maar Hala, the mare who produced more champions than any other straight Egyptian mare in the U.S. “Legs’” grandsire RICHTER MH (the sire of Rose) is a son of the coveted El Halimaar, who stands unchallenged as a progenitor of Arabian type and beauty. Richter was Canadian and U.S. National Top Ten Futurity stallion, Reserve Senior Champion stallion and Reserve Supreme Champion stallion at the Egyptian Event, and was Senior Champion stallion at Merrist Wood in Great Britain against formidable competition including the famed Imperial Baarez. Richter is a standout in the ring, full of life and vigor, always displaying a high flagged tail and a sparkle in his eye. As far as Richter’s tail female goes, his dam Farasha, a daughter of Farazdac (“Egypt’s most beautiful white swan”), was out of a Tuhotmos daughter out of Bint El Nil, a full sister of the Gleannloch foundation mare, Dawlat (dam of Dalul.) “Legs’” great great grandsire is US National Champion ANSATA IBN SUDAN, considered by many to be the best example of the Arabian stallion of his generation. Identical accolades could also apply to “Legs’” grandsire, IMPERIAL IMDAL, who gained worldwide fame as both a show horse and sire of the highest possible caliber. “Leg’s” dam Rhianna Rose was an exceptional mare of superlative quality and unparalleled beauty and type. The only mare I have ever seen that was her equal is the beautiful World Champion mare Pearlie Mae of Halsdon Arabians, who appears to be her twin. ”Legs” also bears the mark of legendary show horse and sire IMPERIAL IMDAL, a stallion whose influence has raised the worldwide standard of the Arabian horse. He was the ultimate international icon - twice Egyptian Event Supreme Champion, East Coast Champion, US Reserve National Champion and World Champion Stallion – all who had the good fortune to see him on the occasion of any of these wins would agree that he was THE undeniable champion, exemplifying nothing less than the quintessential Arabian stallion. He was a tremendously successful sire with champion get dispersed around the world, including: Egyptian Event Supreme Champions VA SIRIUS, HADAYA EL TAREEF and IMTAARIF; World & Italian National Champion Stallion MOROC; World, All Nations Cup, UK International, Asil Cup and Israeli National Champion Mare LOUBNA; All Nations Cup Reserve Junior Champion Colt AL MARAAM; Middle East Junior Champion, twice European Egyptian Event Champion & World Top Ten Stallion MOSALLI; Israeli National Champion Stallion MAHBUB; Israeli National Champion Mare TANJARAH; and Asil Cup Champion Stallion TAHIR. He is also the sire of the great stallion LAHEEB, Twice Israeli National Senior Champion, European Reserve Junior Champion, Israeli National Junior Champion and World Top Ten Junior Stallion. LAHEEB is the one of the most widely celebrated international Arabian stallions, and the very first straight-Egyptian stallion to be utilized in the Polish breeding program, an honor extended for both his superior phenotype and genotype. LAHEEB has been an unqualified success as an international sire with several outstanding get to his credit winning in the toughest international competition, such as: European, Asil Cup, Egyptian Event Junior Champion, All Nations Cup Reserve Junior Champion & World Top Ten Colt AL LAHAB; Polish National Senior Champion, European Reserve Senior Champion, World Top Ten, All Nations Cup, Poznan International & Polish National Junior Champion Filly/Best in Show EMIRA, Polish National Reserve Junior Champion, Warsaw Summer Show Champion, European & All Nations Cup Top Five Champion POGANIN, Polish Spring Show Junior Champion Filly/Best in Show WIE?A BABEL; Polish National Junior Champion Colt Z?OCIE?; Polish National Reserve Junior Champion Filly SIKLAWA; Poznan International Junior Champion Colt PERSEUSZ; Israeli National Reserve Junior Champion Filly DUMKA; Israeli Spring Show Reserve Junior Champion Colt NOB; Kohelian I Stakes winner PANCERZ, and Polish National Top Five winners GALILEA, EGEA, ESTORIA, EMESA and ARIADNE. Laheeb himself is has been an excellent example of the great possibilities when crossing the Egyptian and Polish lines, which is what our breeding program hinges on, as well as keeping Straight Egyptian and Pure Polish stock as well. To continue the incredible story of Leg’s heritage, add the presence, strength and animation of the famous stallion Nabiel, and world renowned sire of extreme quality and type The Minstril.

Imperial Imdal Sterling Vision, “Leg’s” sire, is a son of the famed Nabiel daughter Nagda, a daughter of the “million dollar mare” Bint Magidaa and thus Nagda is double Magidaa. The mares in Rhianna Rose’s pedigree are strong in beauty, charisma and type as well as strong athletic bodies, high tail carriage and movement. Rose’s dam Sybella is a snow white beauty of incredibly fine skin and a coat that gleamed like a silver dollar…just like Rose’s. excerpt from News page of Al Rayyan Farm, Sheikh Abdul Aziz :
"Richteous by Richter MH out of Bint Bint Magidaa must be one of the finest pedigree bred horses in USA at the moment. His father Richter MH had already been of interest to Sh. Abdulaziz and was actually sold to Count Frederico Zichy Thyssen at the moment that Sh. Abdul Aziz also wanted to start to negotiate his purchase. Richter has a fabulous pedigree tracing back to a wonderful Hadbah Enzahi family and fathered by El Halimaar an Ansata Ibn Halima son out of the stunning RDM Maar Hala, a mare Sh. Abdul Aziz wanted for a long time to include in his breeding programme. Richteous’s Mother, Bint Bint Magidaa, who recently passed away, was a stunning full sister to the stallions Alidaar, Ruminaja Ali, Ruminja Bahjat… This mare is another top quality individual Sh. Abdul Aziz likes to see in his programme and pedigrees. During my visit to the USA in January 2006 I was stunned by Richteous’s qualities. A charming face that has all the refinement needed; nice eyes, ears, cheeks, and muzzle. His body and top line, I would say, is close to perfection and hard to fault. The way his neck sets, the length and shape is wonderful. So here we have a gorgeous package in one stallion topped by excellent movement and tail carriage."
The Minstril Sybella’s dam is a daughter of El Moongi, a son of Reserve Australian National Champion stallion Shaarawi, who replaced Morafic at El Zahraa as chief sire, and was ¾ brother to US Reserve Champion mare, Top Ten English and Western pleasure mare Nahlah and to US Reserve National Champion mare Bint Bint Hanaa. Shaarawi was also a great broodmare sire whose daughters produced race winners in Egypt. El Moongi on his female side is out of a Sameh daughter and goes tail female to Bukra. El Moongi was bred to the gorgeous Ramses Fayek daughter Belbowrie Fayeka to produce Sybella’s dam. Thus is introduced another line to the great Nazeer through another important son! There is not one hole anywhere in Leg’s pedigree, it is full of the blood of greats, and we have high hopes for his future.
