We are a team, first and foremost, and we keep our options and our minds open. The foundation for the horses trained at Quintessential Arabians is dressage, with its focus on communication, balance and harmony. We also use many so called "natural horsemanship" techniques, the age old practices of true horse trainers. We offer quality based training tailored to each individual horse's needs. Every horse here is treated like the unique and special creature that they are, both physically and mentally. Training and turnout schedules are designed to create not only a well-tuned athlete but a completely well-rounded, relaxed and settled horse who enjoys working and interacting with people. All Western and English disciplines are trained here: Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Dressage, Saddle Seat and Reining. That said, we particularly enjoy laying a good foundation for young horses. It is my favorite thing in the world to start a youngster down their road to a working relationship with people for life. We understand horses, and teach our students to do so as well, seeking never to stagnate in old traditions or by having closed minds.
